One of my primary goals as Comics Laureate has been to introduce as many new people as possible to the most diverse range of quality graphic novels currently available, and during my 30 years as curator of Page 45, the 52 books below have proved perfect introductions for different people, so often kick-starting a lifetime’s adoration and exploration of our beloved medium.
